Overview of the role

We are looking for a Junior Digital Marketing Executive that would like to take their first step into the world of marketing. This role will allow you to be involved in many aspects of online marketing and to develop skills in this area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Digital Marketing Executive to join an expanding and inspiring team. You will be part of an ambitious and growing Early Years Childcare business and will be responsible for supporting the marketing team with an integrated marketing strategy. In this new role you will support the wider marketing team with, build and design for testing campaigns across digital channels.

Responsibilities

  • Utilising content to drive traffic to the website.
  • Setting up email campaigns, A/B testing and tracking customer data
  • Monitor the unsubscribe rate and bounce rate of emails to ensure data list health
  • Planning and scheduling social posts
  • Test updates to email templates across a range of devices and clients to ensure quality control
  • Update email reports and communicate results back to the team
  • Support the wider marketing team with ad-hoc duties such as website updates, updates to print collateral and updates to social imagery and campaign graphics.

Candidates will be able demonstrate some knowledge on the following aspects of digital marketing:

  • Search engine optimisation and the factors that influence high rankings
  • The basic structure of a website and its relevance to SEO
  • Google Analytics and other tools used to implement a successful SEO strategy
  • Setting up and running Google Ad campaigns
  • Keyword research
  • Link-building
  • PPC campaigns
  • Reporting and analysis
  • Social media management software
  • Programs/platforms you should be familiar with:
  • WordPress
  • Google Ads
  • Google Analytics
  • Social platforms/advertising
  • MailChimp
  • Adobe suite

Qualifications and experience

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent industry achievement
  • Office experience ideal but not necessary
  • Excellent written English
  • Excellent attention to detail with an understanding of the importance of branding
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work well with different people
  • Be helpful, flexible and ambitious
  • Organised, reliable and punctual
