Consider your level of expertise for the role you’re applying for – does your experience match the requirements? It’s hard to build a fulfilling career on something that doesn’t excite you, so make sure you read through the job description and ask yourself:

Tips for your CV, before you apply...

Your CV is our first chance to know you, it needs to show your previous experience as well as let us know that you’ll be the right person for the job and to represent Fennies. Whether you’re entry-level or leadership it’s important to make sure you have everything covered: 

  • Provide a cover letter – let us know about what inspires you about this role and what you’ll bring to take it to the next level 
  • Make sure you’re double checking all the information provided, correct dates and spelling 
  • Give reasons you excelled in your last position, training or education

What happens after you apply?

Once we’ve read your CV if we think you’ll be a good match for the role one of our careers team will contact you, usually by phone by if we can’t get through, we’ll send you an email to set up the best time to discuss the role. The process can differ slight depending on which role you’re appling but usually after the initial phone call: 

  • You’ll be invited for a video call with a member of the careers team 
  • The line Manager may request a phone conversation first (depending on role) 
  • Next, you’ll be invited for a video Call with the Nursery Manager  
  • If your video call is successful, you will be asked to come in for a face-to-face interview 
  • Should your face-to-face interview go well we will set you up for a trial shift (depending on role) 

If you're successful...

If we believe that you are right for the role and have met all the criteria we’re looking for as a company and brand, a member of our careers team will reach out to you with an offer. Once you’ve accepted the offer, our onboarding team will walk you through your next steps and our induction process.
