Hours & Attendance
Monday – Friday, 7:45 am – 6 pm.
We’re open 51 weeks per year; the nursery closes for one week between Christmas and New Year.
We’re closed on bank holidays.
Early & Late Sessions
Open 7 am – 7 pm.
Early starts 7 am – 7am, £10 per day.
Late finish 6 pm – 7 pm, £10 per day.
Book an early & late session for £18 per day.
You can book extra sessions on a long-term permanent basis or pay-as-you-go. For pay-as-you-go, we require a minimum notice of 48 hours to ensure that we can accommodate staff ratios.
We only offer full days.
Children must attend a minimum of 2 days per week, and each child must attend either a Monday or Friday – if not both.
Term time only is not available.
We do not offer refunds for sickness or holidays.
Fees & Discounts
Your invoice will be issues 10 days before the start of the following month.
Your fees must be paid before the 1st of every month for the upcoming month.
Your fees are calculated on a day rate, and therefore, your monthly invoice will fluctuate depending on the days your child attends the setting and the number of these days in a month.*
The standard day rate for Fennies Epsom is £90.

Fees include meals, snacks, milk for infants, nappies and extracurricular activities.
Fee increases are calculated every year in July based on the previous year’s running costs and are applied in September’s invoice.
Fennies operates over 52 weeks of the year.
You can be added to a nursery waiting list free of charge. To secure your space when one becomes available, we require a non-refundable £100 registration fee. In addition to a £400 deposit, which will be deducted from your first month’s fees.
Only one discount can be applied to any child.
Children attending the setting full-time (Monday-Friday) receive 10% discount. The discount rate is shown in the fee table above.
Siblings are eligible for a 10% discount. The discount will be taken from the eldest child fees. Not each sibling.
* For example, if your child attends on Mondays and Wednesdays and there are a total of 4 Mondays and 5 Wednesdays in the month, your invoice will show a fee for a total of 9 days. We do not offer refunds for sickness and holidays.
** 10% discount for full-time children (restrictions apply). Discounts cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount.
Tours & Registration
Once a space has been offered, you will have 3 working days to complete the necessary documentation and transfer the deposit to secure your place and become registered with Fennies.
For fully subscribed nurseries, parents have the option to be added to our waitlist free of charge.
Once a space becomes available you will be contacted to enquire if you would like to proceed with the registration process.
We advise all prospective parents that are put on the waitlist to book a tour to view the nursery so that should a space become available, you can accept immediately, as spaces are allocated on a first come first serve basis.
We aim to give parents as much notice as possible when a space becomes available.
To register your child with Fennies, we must receive the following 3 items:
– Completed registration form
– Signed terms and conditions
– £500 deposit and registration fee
The place will be held for 3 working days in which time all sections of the registration must be completed.

Additional & Cancellations
We offer families a settling in period to aid your child’s smooth transition into the nursery. During these periods, we advise that parents leave their child so that they can adjust. If you want to stay close by, we have Parent Spaces where you can work, catch up on admin or relax with a coffee. Our standard settling in period is one week however we understand that each child is different, and we are willing to reassess this for the welfare of the child. Settling In is free of charge.
Changing Your Days
If you need to increase, decrease or change the days that your child attends, please contact the Admissions Team in writing with 8 week’s notice. Amendments to days are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
We work in partnerships with our families, and we understand that sometimes situations can change quickly. Whilst we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate the amendments you need without the required notice, we will always try our best to make amendments. However, this is dependent on the availability of the staff in the nursery to abide to the ratios.
We require 8 week’s written notice for all cancellations.
Cancelling more than 8 weeks before the start date:
Your £400 deposit will be refunded. The £100 registration fee is non-refundable.
Cancelling less than 8 weeks before the start date:
Your £400 deposit and your £100 registration fee are non-refundable. You will be liable to pay any fees over and above the value of the £400 deposit.
Cancelling during contracted time:
Your cancellation period will commence 8 weeks after your notice is received. Fees up to and including the final date must be paid in full before the leave date.
