We do not offer half-day services at Fennies South Croydon, St Augustine's Avenue for several reasons. Children tend to find it harder to settle when they only attend part of the day, which can impact their readiness for preschool. Additionally, they may miss out on important aspects of the curriculum, as our routines are designed to provide a holistic learning experience with a variety of activities scheduled throughout the day. We also believe that partial attendance can unsettle other children who remain, but we do offer flexibility for early morning drop-offs and evening pick-ups to accommodate parents’ needs.

A setting that incorporates equality, diversity, and inclusion can benefit children’s social and emotional development as well as a cultural appreciation of others. We are committed to ensuring our practice is inclusive and diverse. Celebrating diversity is especially important as it introduces cultures and customs that children may not have been exposed to yet.” - Director of Early Years, Rageena Tahir.
