Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Engineer
Location: Multi Site Travel across all Fennies Branches
Reports to: Head of Facilities
Hours: 40 per week
Salary: Up to £50,000 with vehicle and expenses paid or vehicle allowance with own van use
Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays
Purpose of Role:
To offer a full inhouse maintenance service to the commercial and residential buildings within the company portfolio.
To undertake routine, planned and reactive tasks to ensure that the portfolio is fully functioning and always in great visual order.
To work closely with the Head of FM to offer solutions and reactive to time sensitive SLA’s.
Person:
Multi-Skilledwith an understanding of Planned & Preventative maintenance schedules to building plant and fabric.
A proven track record in commercial or residential building maintenance
An understanding of all round trades, Basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical, water treatment, painting & decorating etc
Good communication skills, calm and the ability to build rapports with all stakeholders.
Hard working, reliableand a can-do attitude
Hold a Full driving Licence.
Trade qualifications such as a City and Guilds electrical L2 (or equivalent) would be advantageous.
Key duties & Responsibilities
To ensure that routine maintenance is carried out to meet and exceed expectations and pre-agreed service level agreements.
To ensure that all reactive tasks logged are carried out to meet and exceed expectations and pre-agreed service level agreements.
Manage the maintenance database to prioritise and update work ordersand incoming helpdesk jobs
Proactively maintain the portfolio and continuously improve service.
The Technician will be required to carry out all equipment moves and changes that the client requests.
Undertake painting, decorating, and a full range of DIY tasks to ensure the meeting of service levels and to maintain an attractive decorative environment.
Ensure the loading and unloading of stock, and appropriate and safe storage of relevant equipment, spares and deliveries.
Ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed regarding PPM, reactive and breakdown works and that issues are suitably escalated to the Facilities Manager
Where applicable, assist on-site management in the water hygiene checks or other similar tasks
Where applicable, assist on-site management with routine daily and weekly plant checks as detailed in the site logbooks.
Escort visiting subcontractors around site to ensure safe execution of service-related tasks, and ensure RAMS are adhered to.
Ensure the plant rooms are always locked and kept in a clean and tidy condition.
Work alongside other divisions, such as housekeeping, landscapers, or construction, to meet the business demands.
