Twickenham Nursery

Located in Twickenham, Hampton Road, this Fennies Nursery is opening in July 2025 and will become one of the newest nurseries in the Fennies Family. Twickenham, Hampton Road has been thoughtfully curated with Early Years in mind, filled with indoor and outdoor spaces that cater to the unique needs of every child. The nursery has free-flow access between indoor and outdoor spaces to encourage seamless exploration and play. Twickenham is lucky enough to have a dedicated cooking studio where young chefs can develop a curiosity for the culinary world and make tasty, healthy treats. Their spacious garden has a growing area that introduces children to nature and sustainability, whilst providing opportunities for the children to explore areas of STEM. Our parents love Fennies due to the amazing amount of growth and development they’ve been able to see in their children through the heartwarming environments we provide.

Parental involvement within Early Years is one of the biggest driving strategies to ensure the children have the best support with their early learning and development with us. There are many factors that support this, by building a welcoming environment where parents are comfortable and build trust, which then builds rapport. Fennies Twickenham, Hampton Road has a dedicated parent room, which is a functioning space for each parent at Fennies, used for settles, working spaces, and meetings. Many parents will use this area for their own purpose, and it is considered a safe place. Fennies Twickenham, Hampton Road also hosts regular parent events, workshops, and visits from parents, where children can showcase their skills and passions or alternatively read stories, having their carers organically involved in everyday nursery life!
By not having a separate sleep room at Fennies Twickenham, Hampton Road, we can supervise the children more closely due to the higher amounts of team available to do so. If the children were in separate sleeping rooms, they would only be checked on every 10 minutes (in line with the statutory framework), whereas we monitor them throughout their sleep rather than just at 10-minute intervals.
You can find us at 175 Hampton Road, Twickenham, TW2 5NG. Our nursery is easily accessible and is approximately a mile away from both Twickenham and Richmond train stations.
Choosing a nursery for your child instead of a childminder brings numerous benefits. With a higher number of children, your little one will have more opportunities for social interaction, opening doors to diverse backgrounds and different cultures. Did you know that children learn so much from their peers? By interacting and conversing with a larger group, their learning opportunities increase exponentially. Small groups with only 1 or 2 childminders cannot prepare children for the transition to a bustling school classroom of up to 26 children. At Fennies Twickenham, Hampton Road, we prepare them for success! Our nurturing nurseries follow a well-structured routine that provides stability while giving children the freedom to choose from a variety of experiences. They'll thrive in an environment that nurtures their sense of stability and allows them to explore their interests in between activities. It's about fostering their individuality! Unlike childminders who operate from their homes, Fennies Twickenham, Hampton Road offers spacious facilities and a wide variety of resources. This ensures engagement in learning, especially when they spend full days, five days a week with us.
Fennies Twickenham, Hampton Road is committed to providing an inclusive environment where all children, including those with special educational needs and disabilities, can thrive. From the start of the day, children engage in a welcoming environment where they can explore a variety of stimulating activities tailored to their interests and developmental stages.
