Settling-in sessions allow children and parents to be introduced to the nursery and team. You will liaise with the admissions team to provide all the necessary details, and then the Nursery Manager will help organise the first settle based on your proposed start date. On this day, the parent and child will attend for a short visit, with the parent remaining onsite while the child gets familiar with their surrounding environment and people. This allows the transition period to be as smooth as possible, helping your child build those initial bonds within the room. The settling-in period is free of charge and typically takes 1 week but can be extended to 2 weeks if necessary.
