Nursery Manager
Claire has worked in early years for an impressive 18 years, starting as an Apprentice and working up to management roles. Through this experience, Claire has gained a great understanding of how to support her team in order for them to provide the best possible learning experiences for children.
One of Claire’s key passions is building important parent partnerships and recognising the value that they bring to an early years setting. As a mum herself, Claire likes to actively involve all parents in their child’s nursery journey, whether it’s through her open-door approach or by arranging parent events. She creates a space where children, staff and families can flourish.
When I first met the practitioners at Addiscome Road, they made me feel at ease from the very beginning of our nursery transition. I enjoyed talking with them and building a relationship with them. There is also an established positive relationship with my child which is extremely important.

Bonnie has been a member of the Fennies family since 2008, and she is a passionate and dedicated part of the team. Her love of the early years started at home while she was raising her own child. She was inspired to turn this passion into a career. She now leads her team with that same passion that got her into early years over a decade ago.
I'd like to say thank you to the Fennies family for taking such good care of my daughter. She has absolutely loved her time at nursery and that is down to the amazing team at Christchurch Road. The enthusiasm, happiness and love that all the staff shows the children is fantastic. Rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted, our Sanderstead day nursery and preschool is one of our smaller settings, where children enjoy creating wonderful close bonds with each other and the nursery staff. Our custom-designed spaces, including a spacious garden, purpose built outdoor classroom and sensory experience for under 2s allow our highly qualified practitioners to be creative when creating learning activities to support each child’s development.

Victoria has worked in early years education for over 8 years and provides a caring environment by supporting every stage of the children’s development from 3 months right up to preschool in an environment where they can explore and play. The team are continuously encouraged to develop professionally and personally, in order to provide the highest standard of care possible.
My son has been at Fennies Sanderstead for almost three years now and we’re so happy with it. He loves going in and is always well cared for. The staff are brilliant and there are so many activities daily to keep him engaged and developing from lessons like PE, French and Spanish, to creative tasks like planting flowers, messy play, writing and number games. The Management Team are friendly and always open to listening to feedback and new ideas.

Our nursery in South Croydon was our very first setting and has been providing quality childcare for over almost 30 years. The nursery is ideally located close to South Croydon train station and is just a 10-minute walk to Sanderstead train station for parents who commute to London and Croydon.

Radha has worked in childcare for over 15 years and is very passionate and dedicated to providing a stimulating environment for all children to grow and develop. She has a keen eye for the nursery environment and is continuously adapting it to provide a stimulating learning space for both children and staff. Radha finds it incredibly rewarding to watch children reach important milestone and loves supporting them along their unique journeys
